If you want test results it is best to call after 10:30 in de morning. Look also at MGN for test results and letters from your specialist. You can also get a repeat prescription with this site.
For urgent reasons, you can reach us at all times between 08:00 and 17:00, even during the aforementioned exceptions. In case of an emergency, press 1 on the telephone.
The assistants have followed the training to be a doctor's assistant. They are trained to request your help according to the guidelines of the Dutch College of General Practitioners, the N.H.G. This allows your complaint to be assessed with the correct urgency, so that in the event of an emergency we do not make you wait unnecessarily long. This system is called triage, and a lot of attention is paid to this in practice and by attending refresher courses. They will ask you some questions to clarify your request for help and to assess the urgency. They are also trained in giving advice and performing medical procedures. All our employees are obliged to treat your information confidentially, this is covered by professional secrecy.
Telephone number: 040-2212701
When you call us you will be given 3 choices:
1. For emergency care for life-threatening conditions
2. For the prescription line to repeat medication you are already using
If you do not make a choice, you will automatically get the assistant on the line.
When the assistant has clearly identified your request for help, she can then make one of the following suggestions:
- The assistant will give you advice herself
- The assistant will consult with the doctor and call you back later
- The assistant makes an appointment for the doctor's consultation hour
- The assistant makes an appointment at the assistant consultation hour
- The assistant asks the doctor to call you back
- The assistant schedules an (urgent) visit
Need more time
A consultation lasts 10 minutes, now temporarily due to COVID-19 15 minutes to avoid crowds in the practice, and is intended for one complaint and one person a time. Think about what you want to ask your doctor in advance. Do you have several complaints or questions? Then you can indicate this when making the appointment, so the assistant can take it into account in the agenda. This prevents waiting times for other people.
We want to maintain and improve the quality of care through this method. We also want to keep waiting times as short as possible and let the practice function as efficiently as possible. We hope for your understanding.
